Drafting the right kind of “person” at WR would be my preference.

I’ll take the Tae’s, DD’s, James Jones’, and Jordy Nelson types all day long over the AB’s, OBJ’s, and Terrell Owens’ types.
You don’t win with choir boys you win with playmakers. If you can get a stroke of luck and get both perfect but it’s the exception not the rule. Get me a guy who can make plays

That’s why I quoted the names I did.
They’re stand up guys who could/can also make plays.

By most accounts they young guys on the roster now are good guys. Now, if they can grow into becoming playmakers.......bingo!

JMHO, but guys like AB, etc.....no matter how good they are, are destructive to team chemistry and a locker room cancer. Just not worth it to me.

Jennings was a bit of a diva, but he was still a good teammate. He became more annoying after he signed with “the purple”.

I don’t buy the destructive to team chemistry except in extreme situations and yes AB is one of those. Not OBJ, or Dez or Owens. Those guys wanted to win and players respect that. Same with Moss. The media paints a picture much worse than it is. Guys want to win

I've got no problem drafting the occasional "bad boy". The key with them is knowing when to move on. Typically they don't mess with team chemistry too much until they make a bunch of money, get some publicity, and grow a big head. If they can make plays they can help you win - for a while. Dump 'em before they become a problem.

As a reminder of the relevance of these games, last year GB played the Steelers in week 2. It was thought to be a "good test" against a good team. GB went out and rolled them, scoring 51 pts. Oren Burks made several knifing tackles. Josh Jackson had a pick 6 and several PBUs and was everywhere. Kizer replaced Hundley, threw the ball around and looked like a better passer overall.

As my old highschool English teacher used to say, that and a dollar will get you on the bus.

Just want to come out of this one with no injuries.

These games are for evaluating INDIVIDUAL players. Couldn't care less if we win 40-0 or lose 0-40. I want to see which guys win their individual match ups, improve on their own technique, have a nose for the ball, improve their timing and those that look like they belong
