$28 mill for the Malibu home? In two years he can make 10% on it easily. Home prices in that area keep climbing.

He always has advertising residuals coming in as well. He's not cash poor.

i'm not sure how much the real estate market in general affects the prices of these multimillion dollar estates. but yes, prices in california are completely bonkers right now. we paid $679k for our house less than two years ago. it's now "worth" about $850k.

That's pretty much the same all over....market is just crazy.
