Rodgers Wants Out

If players want to get paid and play football, I don’t see this impacting future free agents coming to GB.
After all, they made AR the highest paid QB, Bak the highest paid OT, and Clark the highest paid DT. And likely Alexander will become the highest paid CB sometime soon.

The crux is AR’s narcissistic perception that he’s earned the right to make personnel decisions, which is something that (typically) only QB’s seem to feel entitled to.
Other players just want to get paid and play football.
I get the money aspect because typically the high offer wins but let face it, GB pays it’s own and tends to overpay.

Under TT, yes.
Under Gute, yes, But.........he has also shown the willingness to pay handsomely in free agency for outside FA’s.

How this impacts future FA’s coming to GB is unwritten yet. Only time will tell.
Jmho

GB has completely lost control of the narrative (if they ever had it)... pr nightmare ....

If it works financially fans will forgive GB if they move Arod. And move on.

But I am willing to bet that part of their insistence that he stays regardless of the potential damage to the locker room is that Love isn't anywhere near ready to start.

And as we have seen recently players are chatty creatures. If it’s perceived that the organization does not listen to guys what’s the impact? Would Dunn or other agents push players away from GB with money being equal? Lot of unknowns

Still say Aaron needs to make a statement on this. I'm sure it's fun for him to see the mayhem he's caused but best way to get what he wants is probably make less of a circus about it. Confirm the differences, confirm you're seeking a trade, and leave it at that.

One of Dunn's guys is the reason this mess blew up.

Aaaww.......What’s the fun in that?!

PR disaster maybe but at this point their narrative is limited. They can’t get into a pissing match with leaks and they have to show control to make the best deal possible.

All that said it’s a mixed message to me. On one hand they Rodgers “we want Aaron to be our guy now and in the foreseeable future”. But at the same time if you believe reports they never offered an extension to what is that “foreseeable future”.

Gets back to value. Team must have need and assets. I don’t think this becomes a mass exodus out of GB. Now how it impact FA’s in the future and how they perceive GB remains to be seen. This is where ML comes in. He has to sell the program and keep the business side separate. That’s not in Gutes or Murphy’s DNA
Rodgers and Adams are close though Adams could see this as they traded his QB and does not want to hang around and demands to be traded.
