Rodgers Wants Out

Do people just sit and make up trade options without looking at cap space and whatever. They think it’s fantasy football
Though if that could be real I would take the Washington deal in a second. I don't think they would be good even with Rodgers and then get 2 high 1st and 2nd round picks hell yeah

If money was the solution we would not be in this situation now. And it’s not just Rodgers leaking, it’s also coming out of the organization believe that
The money still may not be as much as he wants yet. He’s always going to be pissed at Gute and the org. Hell, he never forgave MM for liking Alex Smith more than him in SF, and the two won a SB together. Not saying you are wrong, I’m just not convinced that anything is off the table right now

It’s not real and not realistic.

that may be so. i think that some people do honestly believe that. in fact, i believe that there are a few who think that once we get rid of him and his big fat contract (and his big fat ego) the team will be better. who knows? maybe that's true. we will find out soon.
no way are we better...however, if 1/2 of the team takes one side and the other another side you start running into a fractured locker room situation even if you keep Aaron. That's my big concern that it becomes an untenable situation regardless.

I think no matter what Rodgers stays or leaves the locker room will be broken. I think it was with Favre and Rodgers had to win over the other side with his play and Love will be in the same boat.

Some excellent posts - both ways! Really make me think. I can see both sides point of view and each share blame.
Murphy/Gute's control and stubbornness v. Rodgers ego and unwillingness to let go of slights (perceived or real).

Honestly in a way I’m looking forward to moving on. My fear has always been that his skills will decline or injury and it won’t end well. It’s not that I have confidence in Love but this organization has relied on 4 & 12 for decades now and I’m interested how ML and the staff adjusts.

This one nails it. Do we kick the can down the road and try to hold on to the Rodgers era as long as we can? At this point I'm also rather looking forward to the start of a new era and seeing where it will lead. This may be the stepping stone to it.

The Rodgers era in GB is over, no matter what anyone thinks, or wants. Who's to blame? I'd say both management and Rodgers. Ain't nobody there who comes out the good guy.

It's time to move on, and let the new era begin, win, lose, or draw.

Wake me when it starts.)ZZ
