Funny all the former players are talking.... the current roster went dead silent???

No win situation for current roster you come out you are taking sides and no player going to be stupid enough to do that on the record.

Former players and friends of Rodgers Kuhn and Jones say situation is fixable. Media bros say not fixable. sh))

Which key guys? Adams? Jones? Bakhtiari? Kumerow? I still don't get this. If Rodgers wants more "key guys" he should reduce his contract in exchange for those guys.

Fixable is a pretty broad term especially in this case. Sure if the organization is ready to let Rodgers have roster input it’s fixable. Assuming money is an issue just extended him yeah it’s fixable. Unless one side moves off their stance it’s probably not fixable

Oh to be a fly on the wall in LA when Gute and Murphy met with Rodgers.

I still feel like I'm hearing the whole thing in a language I don't understand. There are many reasons given for Rodgers discontent: drafting Love, not being told about Love, cutting Guy X or Y, not enough money, not enough term. And these things are spoken of in a way as if it's self evident that these things would cause an irreconcilable rift with management, but I just don't see it. I don't see how any of the above, even in accumulation, amounts to such a strongly held grievance, unless the grievance holder is unhinged. They have paid him market value recently, they have signed many key players, they have splurged in FA to try to shore up weak areas, they have been winning, they remain committed to him in wallet and word. Until I hear something more from him or someone else, I don't get it.

I remember reading the Tyler Dunne Bleacher Report article "WHAT HAPPENED IN GREEN BAY" over two years ago. It takes on a whole new meaning when re-read today.

I truly think this is an issue / grievance that’s been festering for years. But it’s also a guy who have really never been accountable for things that he did control. It’s simple to push blame. I agree that the team has spent , upgraded the roster and hired a new HC.

What has not changed is the GM and I believe he does not think that guy has done enough for HIM. I also think his personal life has changed his perspective of playing in GB.

I was just going to post about this! There's undoubtedly some leadership going on coaching current team that it's in your best interest to "sit back, stay out, enjoy your popcorn, and see where this ends" for the reasons GBP4EVER states.

I am surprised, however, that neither Greg Jennings or Jermichael Finley provided their 2-cents-worth; unless I missed it.

Anyone watch Pat McAfee today? Very interesting. Seems Dan Patrick interviewed Schefter and Schefter basically admitted that his draft day bombshell didn't come from a source per se. Said it was an accumulation of what he has been hearing over the past few months. He just decided to run with the story now. Dan Patrick was even perplexed by it. I said it once, and I'll say it again, Schefter is shady, imo. You can see it on any program he is on. There was a time where Josina, on ESPN, scooped him with an inside source and Schefter was visually pissed. This draft day bombshell was another shot at trying to act like he had a breaking story.

We may not even be getting the right story about any of this.
