Rodgers Wants Out

I sincerely hope he doesn't retire, and I have little doubt he'll play next season. While he's a person, not property, his contract is an asset and the team will be better off if it gets value from the deal. Either he plays for the team and wins you games or you deal him to another team for something of value. If he retires he does nothing for the team.

I actually like the guy more than most. I don't mind his laid back personality. I don't blame him for the playoff losses as much as some do, though like everyone, he deserves some of the blame. "On average", I believe, he's had to find a way to score 38 points per playoff game to win because that's the average of what the Packers defense has given up in his playoff games. (I could be off a few points on that.) Still, it's time to put all that aside and think of this in purely business terms.

It may he as simple as Arod, despite success, wants to play in a different style of offense where he has more control on the fly.

Call it a career goal. Happens all the time in most careers/industries.

Or he is just a narcissist who wants it his way

Taking it one step further. His personal life has changed. Living in GB might not fit their lifestyl. Life happens

Living in GB was never their lifestyle they were gone the second the season ended like 99% of the players on the roster. WI holds very little to keep most of these guys wanting to live here year round. Don't blame them either unless you grow up in the Midwest and love it won't want to keep you here.

It’s also does not fit their lifestyle from August to February. I get it and I was born and raised in Wisconsin

I agree WI is not the CA laid back lifestyle he grew up in and if rumors are true that she lives part time in Boulder that would play into him being ok playing in Denver.
