Yep that's why I laughed at every saying Oh Rodgers needs a #1st round WR why don't they get him help. Well he won a MVP with what he has so why does he need more help? It's more on the defense then anything else though TT and Gute have dropped the ball the most part on drafting defense the last 10 years.
Yes both have and it’s not just last year which is another bad narrative. The number of misses on D over the past 5-8 years is maddening has caused such a void not in just the 1st 11 but depth.
Yep to me it shows after the SB Ted lost a lot of good people in his scouting dept and that talent was never replaced resulting in part to how we have seen the team draft.
they needed defense, so they used two of the top four picks to draft a qb. and another to draft a running back and another to draft a h-back. great logic.
I was hoping for a OT or a DT last year in the 1st round.
Except the guys on the board on D, especially in RD 1 would have been a reach I’ve said it so many times, the trade up impacted everything past round 1
Not sure I liked Blacklock at 30 last year and he ended up going 40 overall.
LB & CB were needs as was DT but it was a meh draft for them
I still wanted Baremore or Jenkins over Stokes this year.
