nothing new except the vitriol. adams did not show up for otas. some people are speculating that he told the other wrs not to show up too - even though there is zero evidence to support that.Did I miss something today about Adams and the WRs?
Yeah I don't see why Devin Funchess, who never played with Rodgers, would go on a sympathy strike with the guy when he's closer to being out of the league than on a roster. IMO those WRs just don't want to leave Cali yet.Adams knows he's on the team. Won't lose anything by not attending OTAs. A few bucks for show up, nothing else. But, to a lot of the WRs on the roster, their jobs aren't that secure, and if you get dumped for being a malcontent, getting another job gets a little more difficult, and the guarantee money gets pretty darned slim.
To me it makes no sense that just the WR's sit out when everyone else pretty much shows up accept for Rodgers. I still think this was some kind of protest put together by Adams and the other idiots followed. Why else would they not show up when everyone else on the team did? People say it's because the NFLPA said not to show but then why did 79 out of 89 show up?Yeah I don't see why Devin Funchess, who never played with Rodgers, would go on a sympathy strike with the guy when he's closer to being out of the league than on a roster. exactly. that's why it is just crazy to speculate that adams is recruiting the other wrs to skip otas. the wrs are skipping otas because the union encouraged them to. and if you don't have a workout bonus at stake, there's no reason to attend and some good reasons not to - like injury potential for example.Yeah I don't see why Devin Funchess, who never played with Rodgers, would go on a sympathy strike with the guy when he's closer to being out of the league than on a roster. wouldn't it be great to have so much money that you think $500,000 is "a few bucks"?Adams knows he's on the team. Won't lose anything by not attending OTAs. A few bucks for show up, nothing else.
