To be honest, the defense played pretty well in the first half. I re watched the tape and if the offense would have scored a TD instead of a FG when we had 3 plays from the 5 yard line and we would have scored a TD on the TO near the end of the first half, we would have been up 28-3 at half. Pretty darn solid.
The Chargers drive at the end of the first half was executed very well by Rivers and Keenan Allen made some great catches. There were a few defensive mistakes but overall they played well in the first half. We also did not blitz hardly at all in the first half. I think when Capers started to blitz in the second half, the Chargers got better on offense and we got burned. Not sure why we did not continue to rush only four.
