Love the pick. Looking at mocks before he was in the 3rd-4th round so geeting him in the 7th seems a steal. Adds depth to the OL.

He’s a guard probably. I’ve seen more projections like 6th. Nice zone blocker , will have issues at pass pro

Yet another OT to OG conversion. Not that I'm against it, their depth on OL took hit the past 2 seasons. I suspect they might try all 3 draft picks at OT and move them inside once it's clear they can't play tackle.

Thanks Bud, but when it's 3 rounds too early you kinda wonder whether you really got it right.
This is tough stuff without having all the tools available as these GMs. You've done a great job with the draft. danno, Terranimal, Mark too and all the others who offer so much analysis. Makes all of us a little smarter come draft time!

Walker can block, but needs work on his technique. He needs to be taught to be explosive, and how to position himself for leverage against the quicker NFL type rushers, who will blow by anyone who is flat footed, or doesn't have their footwork down.

I think he can learn, and quite honestly, if he plays at guard, and they keep working him out at tackle, he could be in the mix at tackle in two or three years. He just needs to be taught how to be better at it.

Walker is the only guy out of the 4 7th round picks who I think makes the team this year IMO.
