To get under the salary cap, the #Packers cut WR Randall Cobb's salary by about $5.5 million. He was due to make around $8.5 million in total salary and now will make $3M, according to a league source.

The league also reported ILB De'Vondre Campbell as an unrestricted free agent, which means the #Packers didn't turn in his contract. Between the $5M for Cobb and $4.2 million for Campbell, that got them under for the time being.

What? He agreed to terms, they held off submitting the contract to get under the cap. It’s procedural
