Post Game: Packers Defeat Cowboys In A Thriller

It seems like the talk dies down about who's better, Rodgers or Brady. Then Rodgers pulls another one out, like he did today, and it's pretty hard to believe Brady could do the same thing under the same circumstances.

I'm darned near ready to predict that Rodgers is the GOAT!

Good road win. Outstanding final drive. I think GB has found their running back. Jones looked good. He has earned a bigger role, even when Monty gets back to full strength. Defense is still scary at times. Too many successful conversions on 3rd down. The 3rd and long conversions were rough. The team still is banged up and it looked like another couple this game. It's gonna be interesting to see if all the injuries eventually catch up to them. I hope not. They've done a decent job of next man up.

yes indeed. but today they did just enough to win. without that pick-six by randall, i don't think we win.

the offense only had seven possessions in the whole game, and they scored on five of them. it would be hard to ask much more from them.

The thing I liked the most about this win was sticking it to Aikmen after he said the Packers aren't built to play from behind. What team is built to play from behind? Do GMs draft guys with that in mind?

well that and the fact that Detroit lost so the pack are all alone atop the NFCN

yeah, i thought that was an odd comment too. i'd love to hear his rationale for that statement. it seems to me that a team that's "not built to come from behind" would be one that relies heavily on the running game. certainly not a team that has a future hall of fame quarterback with the highest career passer rating in the history of the nfl. i guess aikman just let a little bit of his homerism slip through the cracks there.

Sorry.

I really meant to talk about Aaron Jones, AR, our D, Tay, and numerous other things.

I failed. :)

Don't worry, Aikman was yammering on one play about how Bak got beat on a play, going on about footwork and all this, and meanwhile, a cameraman pans over to the sideline. Low and behold, Bak was not in uniform. There was an uncomfortable silence that followed.

That is pretty amazing. Can't wait to see what it does when the Oline is at full strength. The team has battled, and won, through these injuries. Still have the things to work on but progressing in the right direction.
