It's what I thought LeFleur was bringing to the Packers. A controlled offense where the QB can be a difference maker because of his accuracy, and quick release. Those were two of Rodgers best attributes, but he chooses to play Aaron ball too often.
Defense is another story. I don't claim to be a defensive genius, but I do know when I see a failed concept because of failed design. No matter what they do, there seems to always be that glaring hole in the middle, and YES! It is created mostly by play action, if you do have a respectable running game, and that's what we have, if the blocks are there.

Well, then we owe that whether we get three first round picks or not.
If Rodgers is gonna go 104 yards and be 0-13 on third down (Boyle was 1 for 2) would you rather have 104/0-13 and a bunch of first round picks? Since we owe the $53 no matter what anyway, it's really neither here nor there.

IMO I thought the players played hard. The Packers were just out-coached and out-manned. Chris C. commented a couple of times that Lynch made it his mission to put together a scary defensive line and he has one. Matt truly looked like a Rookie head coach last night. Shanahan knew exactly what to do and how to do it. MLF looked lost a couple of times.
My biggest frustration with the offense is the same as Mark's. Why Aaron has to wait until the clock hits zero before he calls for the ball is beyond me. Its' obvious that he still has a lot of learning to do.
I also agree that they need to get younger and beefier players on the OL. Players that attack the DL rather than just trying to block them. I hope like heck they get someone to replace Bulaga. I know they have tried but he is just too beat up.

i think too many people are jumping to unfounded conclusions. we have zero information to confirm that aaron rodgers is not running the plays that ml called.
we were playing against one of the top two defenses in the league and for whatever reason, our guys looked like they weren't really into the game. that's a coaching issue if you ask me.
worse yet, at times they looked like they didn't understand the game plan - also a coaching issue.
but i want to echo what was said earlier - they had two weeks to come up with something that would take advantage of whatever weaknesses the 49ers have, and that was the best they could come up with. hate to keep repeating myself, but that's a coaching issue.
are the players blameless in this? not by any means. but by now ml should understand the strengths and weaknesses of his own players and should be able to put together a plan that the players can execute. and the result might still have been a loss. but we should have been at least within reach of a victory. our guys just did not look prepared and totally lacked energy.

Losing Adams FORCED Rodgers to play this way. I think he needs to be forced again. Sit Graham down, because he just doesn't give you anything. Take him away from Rodgers. Send Tonyan and Sternberger out there and let youth be served. See what the kids can do, get data points and decide how badly you need another TE.
Sit Allison down. I know people at 1265 like him for many reasons but he's just not getting it done. I'd frankly rather see Grant get his snaps out of the slot. Again, like Graham, we're talking about a guy who doesn't have a future with the team vs a guy you don't know. Coaches can't be afraid to see their favorite players displaced.
With Adams, they all need to figure this one out. Adams is talented and he needs to play but it shouldn't be so damn hard for Rodgers to not lock onto him so much.

If Aaron can't get with the program, sit him down too. We can get 104 yards and 0 of 13 third down conversions from my gramma.
However, please recall that the officials clamped WAY down on us in the first quarter, even into the 2nd iirc. This happens every week to teams, sometimes tou can beat the refs, most of the time, not. I mean that's a 20-23 point differential.
We still lose if you take those points away, but it's a different game.
Add in also that Bulaga went down early too. Suddenly the Niners shift Bosa over to Alex Light. BOOM. That also is not our normal team.
Granted Niners had guys out too. Not saying it's an excuse, again my point is that this wasn't as bad as it SEEMS.
