Official Packers vs Seahawks Divisional Playoff Thread

Give the 'Hawks something to think about. The Packers go out for pre-game warm up in shorts, t-shirts, and barefoot, wearing sunglasses!

Not many talking heads giving GB much of a chance. Seems as if the Packers are an afterthought in this playoff season.

This season has been a huge surprise to me. I never thought they'd win 10 games. I thought if they won 9, they'd found a pot of gold. Now, with 13 wins, they're still considered the ugly duckling in the beauty contest, because nobody thought they'd be here.

They have absolutely nothing to lose on Sunday, and because of that, I think they have a great shot at winning this one. I pick them to win by 3, with a wild finish. If they lose, I won't be disappointed, as long as it's because they were outplayed.

But, I look back, and remember a year where they had so many injuries, and were considered out of it, limping in as #6, a wild card. Yet, when the smoke cleared, another Lombardi Trophy was brought back to 1265 Lombardi Ave., where it belongs.

You just can't count them out.

I agree with you except that team got healthy and had more playmakers on both sides. This team is not as talented and margin of error is smaller. I was at 9 wins also. House money

i thought russel wilson played college football in madison. pretty much the same weather as lambeau. and maybe century link isn't as cold as lambeau, but it isn't a dome. it's not completely unfamiliar territory to him.

i think that line of thought is based on Wilson never having won a game at Lambeau before. It’s semi-flawed in that, yes, he did play at Madison, but, no, it was never this cold because the college season ends before December.

The player I have questions about is DK Metcalf. The dude played for Ole Miss and has (possibly) never played in a game with a temperature lower than 32 degrees.

Cold hands make it harder to catch a football. ;)

I'm a bit worried about two things. (1) Will they come out hot or cold coming off of a bye? (2) How much will this cold/flu bug that hit the locker room affect them?

To win, the D needs to contain Wilson in the pocket. Packers don't blitz much and usually rush only four guys. I think they will need to blitz and rush five and six more than normal. The O needs Jones to have the game of his career against a weak Seahawks rushing D.

27-24 Packers in another nail biter.

That's gonna be on coaching. You see how the Titans played tonight against one of the top offenses. He and his coaching staff should be commended. Let's hope ML has grown up and can do the same.

that game last night surprised me. i will admit that i have not seen any titans games this year, but that defensive performance was amazing. and henry is their entire offense, but the ravens defense could not stop him.
