Not sure I completely buy into what Kuhn reported but it's something, the problem is they moved up for Love and can't give Aaron anything beyond 2 years? Why that's a problem for him I am not 100% sure. It's weird

Which maybe part of the impasse between a 2 year restructure some sort of extension which would have to include a 3rd year and technically that gets to 40. Maybe I’m missing something but 1 year more does not seem like a “drastic measure” either

Also, how the heck could they afford sizeable new money under their current cap situation? Seems like they’d need to hack more guys off the roster.

I think Rodgers did want maybe 2-3 years added to his current deal even if they made them voidable. But he wanted new money that would pretty much have locked him into GB for 3 years through 2023. Now did GB try to just offer him money to keep him in GB through 2022?
