Yes and no. It’s a different level of arrogance. Owners made their fortune well before they became owners. I’ve never met or spoken to an owner. Closest was a passing hand shake with Jerry Jones and a head nod. Players? Oh some are a piece of work
Yeah GB is old fashioned they want to control it all and never let the player have the power.
Owners are businessmen they see every deal as a business deal and they want to win just like they do in the business world.
Most teams do. It’s how you communicate with players. Brandt alluded to that a few weeks ago that communication skills in GB were lacking

GB likes to keep the family tree pretty straight with very few branches that shoot off also..
As much as I like the tradition of no owner in this case we are now it’s not a help. You basically have a Athletic Director running a pro sports franchise with minimal or no oversight. I know to many that’s offensive but hey. Most teams have a tight inner circle, this organization does a shit job of communication on multiple levels
Well the BOD pretty much stays hands off and will let Murphy run the team as he see's fit. Murphy see's himself as the owner of the team and lets the power go to his head at times. He is not fit to make the calls he does. Hiring a GM who will pretty much run the team how he wants proves it instead of hiring a GM who runs the team for the best of the team.
