i don't think you can be a successful qb if you care what other people think.Personally I don’t think a vast majority of pro athletes care what fans think. But that’s probably a whole different discussion

Yes they were, I’m just talking about the “pro” side. If anything it was more polarizing. The people anti-Favre were really sick of him, the pro people loved him. With Rodgers, it’s more lukewarm. It’s disappointment rather than hostility. Just my read of it.Much of the fan base was fed up with Favre flip flops on retirement, that he did not want to be on the field in the cold at the NFCCG and then his exodus to Minnesota which made him going to the dark side. He did not end his time in GB well either. I remember the old PC board was not fond of #4 for the most part
Very true and that holds true in any position in any sport. It’s not a popularity contest it’s a jobi don't think you can be a successful qb if you care what other people think.
That’s valid. I also think some fans are just numb to how athletes in all sports react to money and the loyalty thing. It’s more common now and many think it’s just part of the game. The demographics in all sports has grown older and many are not as invested in sports as they were so what was anger now is just disappointment.Yes they were, I’m just talking about the “pro” side. Sure they can. Arod can be thinned skinned about how he perceives the FO is treating him but also at the same time not care about what us little people think of him. Because us little people don't have any power.it's funny because i agree, but everyone in this thread has been talking about how thin-skinned he is. both cannot be true.
Rodgers ego though cares. He wants to come across as the guy who was wronged by the evil Packers FO.i don't think you can be a successful qb if you care what other people think.
Which has zero to do with the fans. That he could care less aboutRodgers ego though cares. He wants to come across as the guy who was wronged by the evil Packers FO.
