Rodgers Wants Out

I don't disagree, I think it's Murphy he has a beef with more than Gute and that dog won't hunt in GB. Let's see how this plays out during camp. I say he comes in after pre-season game 2. Plays out the season ticked off so he gets his 28 million and then publicly asks to be traded. 100% speculative on my part but it makes sense.
I wonder if GB has told him come in play 2021 after that we will trade you then and Rodgers be Rodgers that is not good enough for him he wants out now.

I think, if Rodgers forced that issue, Murphy would make him sit. Rodgers isn't going to just walk away with a ton of money without fulfilling at least part of his contract. Murphy will make sure of that. He has nothing to lose at that point, but Rodgers does.

Murphy needs to just shut up already....

no s#!t. that idiot can't even follow his own advice. do the packers really need a glorified real estate agent running the football operations?

This is exactly, 100% what GB wants to happen.

Does he come back and play lights out or does he half ass it and protect himself from injury? Either way, oh the media distraction we're in for!!

The Murph.....he just has to have the last word

I think one of 2 things happen

- He sits out until end of camp maybe after week 2 of preseason and comes back week 1. This gives him time to assess Love in preseason and gauge how much leverage he might have.

- He announces his “retirement” but does not sign the papers. Especially if Love flops in preseason. He forces the organization to make a call in the signing bonus money and see what they do.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think it’s a lot about money. His bride is far from poor and I am sure he’s amassed a lot of $$ outside of football. He’s more ready for life after football than week 1. Just my speculation
