Bucks vs Suns NBA Finals Thread

Bledsoe's game went downhill in almost all aspects this past year. I don't think he liked playing in NOLA. It isn't for everyone.

Even though he played a little more than he did in Milwaukee, all his stats dropped.
They did but that team was awful also. No Zion for the most part

That was an interesting game. Booker was en fuego! Middleton offset Booker's 42 with 40 of his own. Giannis played a solid game, but more important, did not have to take the game on his shoulders because others were letting them down. Connaughton made 3 buckets that were crucial, a couple of them being big time 3s when they needed it to swing the game in favor of the Bucks. His work on the boards earned him every minute he had on the floor.

Jrue Holiday was the guy that was shut down last night. 4-20 from the floor. The rest of his game, including defense, was phenomenal. He don't have many bad shooting nights like that.

Bucks starters 3-21 from 3 point range. The only one to make one was Middleton, 3-8. The rest of them 0-13. Off the bench, Connaughton 3-7, and Portis, 1-1. Not a great day shooting outside. If they do have a good day shooting outside down in Phoenix, they'll blow them out - assuming they play with the same intensity that they showed at times last night.

As a note, no matter how you guard Booker, there's nothing you can do to stop him from scoring, if his shot is on. The best way to play him is to force him to play defense, and commit fouls, so he's on the bench.

Of course it would help if officials called the game fairly, wouldn't it? There's nobody in this world that convince me that Booker didn't foul out with about 4 minutes left in the game. The foul he committed was so obvious, and right in front of two officials, that the league is going to have to ask them what happened out there?

One of the commentators said it best. "They call things different in the playoffs. What was fouls during the regular season are not fouls in the playoffs." I understand the "let them play" philosophy, but come on! There's a limit to this crap, especially when you're nailing others for just touching a guy's arm just prior to his taking a shot being a shooting foul. Let's be consistent!

I think NOLA thought he would be a vet leader and perhaps yeah he did not enjoy being on a young restart team like NOLA

LOL I will have to watch highlights feel alseep in recliner and missed the game.

So odds Bucks in 6 now? Can they take 4 in a row? Bucks seemed to have flipped a switch.

The Giannis block on Ayton was critical. I get the shot Connaughton made but that block changed the last 90 seconds
  • what happened to Chris Paul. He looked out of sorts all night and the majority of his turnovers were unforced
  • I think we can put to bed the “Khris Middleton is not a #2 guy” to bed. He’s proven in the playoffs he’s pretty damn elite as a scorer
  • I second the thought on the Booker “non call”. Pathetic. He also fouled Middleton on the run out late
  • General observation but Phoenix looked slow. Short rotation maybe legs are heavy ?

Watching highlights was the refs blind in the 4th when Booker trucked Holiday and no foul was called and he should have fouled out? But glad they did call Booker on that shoulder block on Tucker Holiday has been doing that shoulder block a lot.

But Middleton had huge night when Bucks needed him

Not sure that Booker foul on Tucker was a good call. That crap happens every damn rebound and that’s basic blockout. And yeah Tucker sold it also
