Rodgers Wants Out

My big issue with his presser is that he shines a very bright light on what he perceives are shortcomings in the organizations communication with players and treatment of players, but offers no specifics as to what those shortcomings are and/or possible solutions that could assist/ease the transition of players as they leave as terminated or an UFA.

He had the platform and all he did was point fingers, and all it does is leave us to wildly speculate as to what/how severe the issue is.

He had the chance to pull back the curtain, but all he did was throw mud at it.

I’ve also managed and supervised. While it’s not a 100% broad brush but I always stressed open communication good and bad and yeah I got put on blast more than once. Some valid some BS. One of my former clients who I have had screaming episodes with became my favorite client ever, those “sessions” earned respect on both sides. Now to be fair the problem in pro sports is that the players are not only the product but they are a commodity. As an a employee I was never the product. That’s a big difference.

Bottom line its communication. It’s not simple and some are better than others at it. I still work at it every day.
But you really didn't answer my question or failed to get what I was saying.... IF "HE" meaning Rodgers was putting folks on "blast" then he is just as culpable in this as the other side. It takes two to tango my friend. His attempt to deflect it all on the FO and Yes that was his intent is bogus.

If it makes you feel any better, pretty much everyone I’ve seen heard or read except for Stephen A Smith thinks Rodgers came off bad.

Yep Rodgers drove the bus over the entire org. Rodgers has huge part of blame in this but he does not want to accept any of it.

It doesn't really, Look I've talked to the folks in FB I know. Ate lunch at the Iron pig with some formers yesterday.... it's split on the speech. But it's still 90% he's an ass by those same formers. He's not as popular outside the GB circle as most think... but I digress. I think he's getting way too much credit for that outburst around here. Simple as that.

I’ve been consistent that both side carry equal blame. Did I agree with his delivery at the presser? Yes. He was candid, real. Did I agree with the actual content? No, but I also think some of it was valid. Just my take

I think he came off you want to give the approach you are going all in to win a SB this year he pretty much said I don't give a shit I am here because I have to be and just want to fill out this year and leave. If I am his teammate I say FU we don't want your crap here.
