2021 Off Season Thread

Oops, I thought we were talking about the end of the players' tenures with the Pack and Lions.
i was talking about the respect shown by the team towards an important player at the end of the players' tenure with their respective teams. one team brought in the player's replacement a couple years early and then shoved him out the door by trading him to one of the league's doormats. the other team decided it was time to move on with a complete rebuild and traded the player to one of the league's top teams (even in the same conference) with a legit shot at the super bowl.

And I meant that one player talked retirement, causing his team to draft his replacement (and to have to settle for the short end of the stick), and the other player worked with his team to move on to the benefit of both. If you don't think Bart had a major role to play in the way things played out, so be it, but I'm convinced he did. Carry on.

The organization had the chance to move Favre to Tampa which would have worked but no. And no matter, it does not excuse the PR cluster F that happened

Favre is traded to TB I think he is happy plays 2-3 years in TB and retires and does not try his petty revenge and goes to MN.

I was never that pissed off at Favre, now the organization is a different issue

Well the guy who did it is dead, so maybe time to forgive and forget the Favre thing?
