2021 Off Season Thread

Forrestor = Fournette - early morning sausage fingers.

Sure, the window didn't open until Tampa got Brady. But then they found ways to get other guys.

What did the Pack do? Nothing at the trading deadline when there were good receivers out there.

Out of our first 3 draft picks, didn't we really only get one good game? There had to be about 95 players that possibly could have done more.

We still don't go all in. Even when we brought in the Smiths, weren't they the second round of free agency.

Simply, I believe Rodgers is all in. he wants to play on a team that is all in to win a Lombardi. I think the Packers players coaches are probably all in. But, I don't think the Front Office is - The Love Draft and all the other draft out of position project players we have taken since seemingly forever.

I don't blame Rodgers or other players if they want to play on a team where everyone is all in.
Again I ask you what player in the draft in 2019 or 2020 did we pass on that wound have helped us beat Tampa ? What player via trade would have flipped us to win that game?

One last point. This is not fantasy football. It’s takes 2 teams to make a trade and then there’s the thing called a salary cap. Sure this team has holes and given that who was a viable trade asset ?

How about the Rams defensive back they got in free agency.

Yes, Adams beat him once. But he shuts down most. Imagine him an Jaire. Or at least imagine him instead of King who with 1 second on the clock didn't think it was important to not let a receiver get behind him regardless of whether he was in zone or man.

What does “all in” even mean? Whether all in or not this year, they were in the NFCC with a chance to win and Rodgers choked in a few big moments. He didn’t get it done. What good is the team being all in when the QB spits the bit?

Bunting and Davis were there pre Brady

In my opinion, we were only in the NFCC because of Rodgers.

And, I'm just as pissed he didn't produce on the 2 3 and outs and the last series. Maybe if the Pack had better receivers he does produce.

Maybe if the Pack had a competent defense - like one that understood that press, man, zone, or pick your ass, you can't let a guy get behind you with 1 second on the clock, the Pack would have produced. Green Bay was horrible on 3d down for most of the game - and on one last huge play when the let Gronk ramble for 30'ish yards.

Did Rodgers screw up? I believe he did. But our whole team seems to be, I'm not worried Rodgers will fix it. Because of the Pack's warts, he needed to be perfect for us to win the NFCC. Agreed he wasn't.

All In? It's getting the wide receiver at the trade deadline

Who were the Packers going to trade for? No one was on the block worth a damm.

Who?

Both Smith's and Amos were signed on the 2nd day of free agency, not the second round.
