People will look at how his defense ranked and will ask “why?”.
But, all you really need to do is look at how his defense performed against playoff type teams (for the most part), and then you get the picture.

I’m not a fan of promoting from within, but if they went that route I would prefer Mike Smith over Gray

Pettine's top 10 ranking is a misnomer. Like I said from the get go, to win, the Packers needed to score at least 31 points. Even then, they'd lose too many of them, because his defense cannot match up to a team that's considered a contender.
This should have happened long before now. Now let's hope they don't do something stupid and get someone in who isn't capable of making the changes necessary.

on that call. Like Mark thought it was a bad hire from day 1. A lot of people down on the Jerry Grey idea but remember he's 4-3 guy. It would be a system change from Dom and MP.
