8 or 12 team playoff?

Still SEC is deep every year go at worst you see likely 3 teams in every year with them. I just dont' want to see one conference over repersented

This does point out the situation. But, strangely enough, 4 in from the SEC with 12 teams is 1/3 of the entries. 2 in with 4 entries is 1/2 the entries. Oddly enough, a lower percentage with the 12 team format, but the optics really suck!

So just give the other schools a pass because they can’t compete? Ok Penn State your 9-2 and ranked 11 so let’s give you a spot over 9th ranked Florida just to be fair? Please

Is it fair now? Right now it can be politics and BS how teams are picked to the playoffs.

And 2 from G5. The debate is always going to be what does the committee use for criteria and honestly they seem to move the goal posts a little each year. But then my message to the rest of the P5 especially the Pac 12, step it up

No it’s not politics, the best 4 teams have got selected each year. Sure there has been some debate but little outrage. So yeah based on the system it’s fair.
