Bucks vs Suns NBA Finals Thread

I think that if you look back at his defense vs Paul, you'll see it wasn't as much his problem with Paul as it was the switches the Suns forced to pull him off Paul. The Suns set some really good picks.

To some extent yes. But as the piece in The Athletic pointed out, he’s tried to force Paul to his left and he just reverses and gets space.

Your point on picks is really interesting. One point in the article was how smart Ayton is, knowing when to slip the screen or hold. Something I did not notice but will pay attention tonight

One other thing Phoenix does really well is when Paul or Booker are in the pick and roll they pull the ball out instead of going to the rim. That isolates them on Lopez / Portis and it’s a complete mismatch. Bud going small really helps that out but Connaughton is not quick enough. Damn if you do damn if you don’t
 
As to this group going small, this is the first series that The Big Ragu is missed. He’s a big upgrade on defense vs Teague or Forbes
 
Watching Teague and Forbes out there is almost as bad as watching Kaminsky. He really looks gawky.

Still as a defensive player he's a million times better then Bledsoe was.

Yeah Ragu was a starter Teague is lucky to be on a team and Forbes is just a guy

Not this year Bledsoe was awful down in NOLA. I think those picks that MKE had to give up a couple were to take Bledsoe's bad contract back
