Bucks vs Suns NBA Finals Thread

They came hard in game 5. Their issue right now is they don’t have a secondary option after Booker. Paul is not healthy either. It’s not getting a lot of discussion but losing Saric really impacted them
Yeah but when down 2-3 knowing win or go home I think that adds a little more fight to a team.

Amazing game. The Bucks looked like they were about to lose by 40, out the gate. You could even see a cockiness in the Suns. One, who'd already learned what happens to you when you go there (Booker), wasn't going to visit that again.

I know the Suns shot extremely well. But, the Bucks won. Did the Bucks defense fail? Absolutely not. They made key stops when they had to make key stops. You can't stop the radar directed shots that Booker and others were putting up. You stop those that you can control, and you make their offense "uncomfortable," by pressuring the ball on the outside.

I think they all played well last night to be honest. There were the occasional bad decisions, but by and large, they hustled, and conceded nothing. That 2nd quarter was pure guts! Bud's adjustments (Okay! I said it!), and the way the players adapted to the changes was amazing.

I think they win game 6 in Milwaukee, because they don't want to trust having a game 7. Also, home cooking, and that will give them the edge.

Don't be surprised if the Suns win though. And, at the same time, don't be surprised if the Bucks blow them out by over 20. It all depends on how hot the Bucks are early. They can demoralize teams when they can't miss early.
I am hoping for a Bucks win. It would mean so much to the state to have a championship team first time in 50 years for Bucks and over a decade for the state to see a pro team win a title.

Oh one more head scratcher
Devin Booker watched a six-minute -14 stretch from the bench in the second quarter when Bucks made their run….why? Inexcusable

Something's wrong there. Can't put my finger on it. I thought it might be a punishment for not playing hard on D. Then I thought it might be because he's not listening to the coaching.

Watching P.J. talking to him on the floor, and laughing... Booker just stands there.... stone faced.

I just don’t think you make a point or coaching moment in game 5 of the finals. Not with his talent. Giannis was also sitting so maybe trying to steal minutes but that’s way risky for my blood

An older player, or one who is nursing an injury, I can see resting them. But as crucial as it was, resting the 23 year old and playing to 37 year old with a bad hand? Something wrong there. We may find out after the smoke clears on this series.

Agree. I think he just lost track of the moment.
