I have zero expectations. It’s entertainmentI have learned to temper my expecations I rather expect less and be happy to get more.
Those that have 7 figure deals are not talking about them, and don't intend talking about them at this point. The question is answered by; "Who knows?"Why? For what reason? And please tell me who has a 7 figure NIL deal.
It’s also boosters who want to want to pump their chest publicly and do it for attention with no real clout. The “look at me “ crowd. Those that have 7 figure deals are not talking about them, and don't intend talking about them at this point. The question is answered by; "Who knows?"
No doubt part of it that the booster claims he's the one who reeled in that big fish for the school. It’s also boosters who want to want to pump their chest publicly and do it for attention with no real clout. The “look at me “ crowd.
Be like the Simpson episode were all the almuni have the money vacuumed out of their pockets LOLTake this article for what it's worth. I do know that Ewers did sign an agreement that gives him that 7 figure deal.
Maybe the problem is that some people are thinking this is a million dollars a year. Right now, it's a deal that covers 3, or 4 years. Whether or not it's revocable I don't know.
Coaches that are sounding the alarms are dead serious on this issue, not whistling at the wind. They see where it's coming, because they know where it was before this whole thing exploded.
You're right about it being boosters pumping their chests in public. But, there will be perks. Access to special game seating, etc. Of course they'll pay through the nose for that too.
It's like one coach I know told me; "We'll just set up a couple more tables in the front of the room for the banquet, and put these booster donors in those seats, so they can feel like they're part of the family." Nobody will question them being there, because they are same people who make donations directly to the athletic department/school, to help improve our facilities.

And what does Ewers do if Manning ends up in Austin? He’s not sitting behind him. And that’s the underbelly of NIL deals. Is it guaranteed? Injury clause? If he leaves before eligibility is up?Take this article for what it's worth. I do know that Ewers did sign an agreement that gives him that 7 figure deal.

That's something I would like to see in a NIL contract how much is actually guaranteedAnd what does Ewers do if Manning ends up in Austin? He’s not sitting behind him. And that’s the underbelly of NIL deals. Is it guaranteed? Injury clause? If he leaves before eligibility is up?
Also if he transfers outside of Texas does the deal change do to state law? I would love to know the company who’s cutting checkTake this article for what it's worth. I do know that Ewers did sign an agreement that gives him that 7 figure deal.
