Well he’s from Louisiana so Austin is basically the backyard compared to Athens. My gut says Mississippi but who knows. The point is, we don't know what's actually in the personal agreements, and if they are separate from those offered by other boosters to the team, across the board. Too many areas we're just guessing at, so who knows?
On Ewers, he's going to get two years as a starter, and would battle it out in the third year if Manning did come on board. But, Manning is not coming to UT. He's not going to hang his hook on competition with Ewers, and risk it all. He's going to go somewhere closer to his home. I still think he could end up at Georgia. The world is his oyster. The best offer will be money with a guarantee of no competition so he can get on the field as soon as possible. The system must also be geared for his style of play. Those are the caveats, and the money will be there. He's the Lonzo Ball type when it comes to the NIL money.
Do any of these contracts have to be filed with anyone?Things i would like to see
- Who owns IP rights
- Agent fees
- Payment terms
- Any $$ in escrow
Also wonder if they leave school do they have to pay anything back?I would like to know a hell of a lot more than that.
The agent representation agreement yes. I know it’s in the Florida statute and I believe Texas and California.Do any of these contracts have to be filed with anyone?
That’s my point on escrow and payment termsAlso wonder if they leave school do they have to pay anything back?
Wonder how much agent might take because usually don't they take more then the normal couple percent when it comes to marketing and endorsement deals? The agent representation agreement yes. I know it’s in the Florida statute and I believe Texas and California.
Yeah never thought that payments might have to go into a escrow account. That’s my point on escrow and payment terms
