NIL - Texas style

You keep grasping at the top level QB salaries. That's just a handful at the most, coming out of college. There are a hundred or more who will never see the field, or even be invited to a professional football camp to show what they have. Their income over those 4-5 years in college compared to the "zero" they get when their eligibility expires is all they'll ever see from football.

As for the dirty laundry, of course it will come out, and be denied, by all concerned, except the aggrieved. It happens all the time. These collectives will not be represented by chicken farmer/part time attorneys. They're already involving some of the best damned litigators out there. In the end, it will tarnish images, but somewhere in each of those contracts will be loopholes that a kid and his family will need to accept or he'll never get the deal.

Loopholes. The way people with way too much money manipulate the entire system, thanks to attorneys who know how to insure that they're included in damned near everything the extremely wealthy do.
Again the assumption is all these NIL deals are guaranteed to some 3 star QB will continue to get a paycheck from a collective. But believe what you want.

Again what you hear about what’s happening with NIL and what I hear are not in alignment. It’s all good. I trust the folks I hand spoken with for multiple reasons. It’s all good.

It IMO has gone from top players getting backdoor money to most kids now getting money. NIL is out of control needs to be limited

Most kids? There is no evidence of that. None

And where is the evidence that it’s “most kids”. None
Were is evidence that a lot of the scholarship kids are now getting it. Lets not pretend it's same as it used to be. The money is ten fold now.

10 fold ? again zero evidence it is. And again there is no evidence that “most” kids are cashing.

So, you're saying only a select few are going to get the money? I'm afraid you've missed something here.

Big Joe Johnson, an offensive left tackle who decides to go to Timbuktu U to play ball, and gets $250 a month to pay for pizza is going to go out there and block his arse off for Johnny Football, the QB, who is getting $1,000,000 a year to smile for the camera?

If you think that's going to fly with Joe, you're sadly mistaken. You're going to see more spread, across the board, to insure you get the right people on the field, and doing their job.

That doesn't mean 90-100 guys are going to get a huge chunk, but it will probably mean that somewhere in the 30 player range the figure will be substantial, and tiered below that as you tentatively work through the depth chart. Even that could change, year to year, and guys not getting enough will be entering the portal to go where they get what they consider "a fair share."

This whole thing isn't being done in a vacuum. It's being done on a broad scale, in a world where greed, avarice, and self gratification is going to destroy a lot of programs if they get too far out of line on money per player. In fact, an imbalance in payments to these kids could destroy a top program.

You are right on one thing. There will be schools that got all the NIL support they could dream about, and others who won't see enough being offered to players, to get them a Subway sandwich, twice a week. It's going to be worse than the difference between Mahomes contract and a guy on the practice squad's paycheck.
