So sitting at 88 right now and will have to see if anyone else opts out otherwise Dump off guys like Black, Griffin, D. Amos, Deqouy, Conway, Z. Johnson, M. Taylor, and Wellman and you are at your 80

dequoy had 4.35-second time in the 40-yard dash and a 6.65 in the three-cone drill. he also recorded a 37-inch vertical and 10-foot, 8-inch broad jump. of all the bottom-of-the-roster guys, he's not one of the ones i would cut early.

I wonder how raw DeQuoy is. Canadian college football more like DII here in the states. He has speed, which was his ticket to at least a try out. He's a real long shot. He'd probably do better in the CFL.

with his speed and agility, he should at least be good on special teams. maybe jarret bush 2.0. football fields in canada are a lot wider. cornerbacks need to cover a lot more territory.

i wouldn't write him off without taking a good look first. that's all i'm saying.

Any UDFA is going to be a super long shot to make the team witn no pre-season games to show off. More then likely will see teams keep what they have as a known commdity. Stash the UDFA's on the PS

I think he could end up on the practice squad. With that speed, they can look at him doing a lot of things. You just don't know what you have until you sort it out. I said he'd do better in the CFL because his speed on defense would make him a better DB against their unlimited motion. You gotta be fast to keep up with their receivers.

If he's going to be stashed on the PS, you don't cut him now. Someone else will snatch him up.

If he doesn't make the 53 man roster (and you like his upside), you wait until the final cutdown and cross your fingers.

The guy had 12 INT's in college and took 6 of the back to the house. Regardless of level of competition, you just don't dismiss that out of hand.

As more players opt out and injuries add up this whole season will be a great year for those lesser known down roster guys to show what they have. A lot more of them than normal will get on the field this season. Good luck to them.

That roster isn't exactly powerful. You will see a lot of movement. Only a few of players listed are really locks at this point.

That's why I am saying players who opt out better not cry if they end up not having a job next year after the cheap young guy plays well and the team cuts the higher priced vet.
