I don't think it's that big a hurdle. He gets high end back up money until he starts. There is plenty of room there to make it work. Really the question is their evaluation of him.

Not necessarily. 5th year options are tiered based and based on recent deals it’s about $19m tops

We will know a little about their thinking after the draft. GB takes a serious QB this year then Love isn't in the long term plans. If they don't he probably is.
