That's the perfect way to describe this season, "growing pains", and that's totally ok. It's going to be fun to see the transition to a new era in GB.

Packers signed DL Jonathan Ford to the practice squad and released C James Empey from the practice squad.

Feeling excited about the upcoming season as opposed to the previous ones. I look forward to games when I'm not sure what will happen. When Rodgers was QB you knew pretty much how he would play and who he would be throwing the ball to. Hopefully Love will spread the ball around.

I'm also hopefully that our new TE's catch on quickly. It will be nice to see that position utilized more.

Just the excitement alone about the added weapons has me amped up. Like you said, it's exciting to see if Love spreads the ball around and makes those defenses a little worried about where the ball is going.

I know we debated this before. But according to this McGough will not be able to be the 3rd emergency QB as he is not on the 53 man roster.

Christian Watson said his hamstring injury is to the same leg (right) as the one that kept him out 3 games last year, but added “they’re all a little different” and it’s “not the same thing, not in the same spot.”Said this week TBD but IR not something he thinks will be needed.

We should take heed in what he said about the lost time from last year's injury. Three games. It could well be that long before he's back. Rush it and we could be seeing a season ending injury. That's the last thing the Packers need to see.

I'm certain the coaching staff is preparing itself for playing without him until he's totally recovered.
