your also the guy who went ape and bet his balls on GB once and walked away castrated..... this same 1 guy won Dallas how many Super bowls? Is he a solid defensive player? Yes, but you're betting the bank that he is (singular) is enough to take us to the next level. If he doesn't or his back goes out it's going to get ugly.
 
Could this blow up in Gutes face and really screw the team? Yep it could. Could this be a piece that helps GB to get to a Super Bowl? Yep it could.

All of us bitch at Gute but I will give him credit for putting his neck on the chopping block because he's going to either see him be called great like Ron Wolf or the worst GM in Packers history for this move in the next 3 years.
 
So what does this say about Ed Policy? The first major move as team president under him. Would have Mark blessed this trade?
 
this is the stupidest freaking move we could have made. we have no good draft picks left for the next couple years. we have absolutely handcuffed our ability to pay other players. i'll be the first to admit i was wrong if this turns out to be the missing piece of the puzzle to get to the promised land. and i hope that i'm wrong. i've been wrong before. once or twice.

I am not mad at the 2 1st Gute has proven he sucks ass in the 1st round. Only issue is the cap. But not the first time GB has spent big and kicked the can down the road to try to win. Hopefully it works out this time.
