are you assuming that every draftee makes the final roster?Looking at the Packers roster I have 47 locks to make the roster well 46 if you count Parsons starting on PUP.
Based on the 46 to start the year means that you have the kicker fighting for a spot and leaves 6 open spots. 1-WR spot, 2-OL spot, 1-DL spot, 1-DB spot, 1-Edge spot until Parsons returns.
Everyone but the kicker.are you assuming that every draftee makes the final roster?
highly doubt it. unless there's more than one team interested, they'll just wait until he's released. even then it would be a longshot. and kickers usually get drafted in the late rounds, so would he be worth more than a 7th round pick?So any chance if Smackdown wins the kicking job GB could get a draft pick for McManus at end of TC?
I dunno, Smack is what, 15 years younger than McManus? He's cheaper, he's a draft pick. Maybe I'm crazy but unless he absolutely sucks in camp I think he's your kicker. Haversik to the PS again if they can keep him.i think we should stop talking smack. at least for now. i need to see how training camp and preseason shakes out. i remember when mason crosby had a bad year, the team stuck by him. i'm looking forward to the battle and the preseason smackdown.
sounds risky for a team that lost in the playoffs because of a few missed kicks.I dunno, Smack is what, 15 years younger than McManus? He's cheaper, he's a draft pick. Maybe I'm crazy but unless he absolutely sucks in camp I think he's your kicker. Haversik to the PS again if they can keep him.
