Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

Yahoo sports NFL power ratings after the draft: Lions #1, Bears #7, Packers #16, Vikings #19. I think the Lions and Bears are a bit over-rated?
dane brugler of the athletic ranked the packers draft #26, the lions #14, the bears #19, and the vikings #29.
i realize this is not the same as "power rankings" that consider the whole team, not just the draftees, but i thought it was interesting anyway. to be fair, brugler did post a disclaimer that teams with multiple day one picks had a distinct advantage in his process for evaluating the draft.

Brugler's write up for GB was bizarre. In his mock he had GB taking Deni Dennis-Sutton at pick 52 in the 2nd round. GB got the same player in the 4th round and he still gave GB a bad grade for doing exactly what he thought they should do.

well, not exactly. they didn't waste their 2nd round pick on a guy they could get in the 4th.

For the money it's worth it, they're going to need the depth while Parsons and Wyatt work their way back. LVN is currently still younger than Wyatt was when Wyatt was drafted.
it sure would be nice if lvn would suddenly have a breakout season. i suppose that's asking too much.

An pregame pick up from Krolls West is just as likely to make a tackle as LVN.

In the words of the late great Bill Walton, "HOOOOOORRRRIBBLE"
Should be expected as Gute like Ted refuses to give up on his draft picks until he's well past the point he should have.

I think most GM's are like that . . . not just because of stubbornness, but there's a financial part as well.
