Post Game: Eagles defeat Packers 34-27

Adams is out w turf toe. Don't know severity of it yet. Might be back for next game or worst case out for a long time.

This game exposed what many have said, still have holes and will be more then a one yr fix.

Imo still need rb, wr, rt, ilber to start with.

A few things over coffee this morning,

*Pederson used MP aggressive style against him, MP has to adjust to that as a DC or it will be exploited by others.
*ML is a rookie HC( they make mistakes), tonight his choice of personal bit him. Can't be a running team and only dress 2 RB.
* Rodgers can take his long cadence and stick it. Your screwing your own team. Snap the damn ball.
* They need to run the ball on the 3 not play Rodgers ball, again HC needs to correct and Sir Ego needs to deal with it.
* Injuries will start to show the depth and personal we really have. As TT used to say the proof is in the pudding.

Rest up and get ready for Dallas! gopackgo

I'm not too upset about this one. Hey, 3-1 every quarter and 12-4 does the job. Reinforces my suspicion that we need one more draft/FA to really be SB contenders, though.

Last night was all about the trenches. Their OL dominated our DL and their DL dominated our OL, especially in the running game. Had we been able to run last night we might still have won a shoot-out 41-34 but we could not run the ball at all and it cost us twice at the goal-line.

We might have "modernized" but the ancient saying remains applicable - run the ball and stop the run and you'll win most of those games. The Eagles made that saying look true again last night.

Just overall a tough night and you could see the Pack's talent deficiencies in certain spots on full display. The run defense is clearly a problem that will keep them from being a top defense. They won't face too many offensive lines as good as the Eagles have, but the Cowboys and Chiefs are in the same tier as the Eagles and they are coming up on the schedule very soon.

Well. Adams was terrific up until the injury. The pass blocking was stellar until Bulaga's injury. Jimmy Graham played like the TE they thought they signed.
The run blocking was so poor that the HC didn't trust it on 1st and goal from the 2. Light was a major liability. Rodgers had to make plays with his legs.
The defense sucked but the game really turned when the kicking team gave the Eagles short fields on consecutive kicks. The swagger went completely out of the defense and they were on their heels the rest of the night.

Agreed, defense struggled, but IMO did not cost us the game. Injuries, uncalled DPI and shit suckage on offense cost us.

Two turnovers? Two long kick returns? We are still a good team, just need to clean that up.

Can we get Trevor Davis back?

The margin of error for this team week to week is razor thin. First 3 weeks this team was just as close to 0-3 as it was to 3-0. If the defense does not create pressure to force TO's its average at best, especially are front 7. On offense its 12 & 17 then everyone else, I like what Graham did but its got to be consistent, same with MVS. OL depth we all knew was an issue and got exposed last night. This is a major work in progress and honestly was not disappointed last night, its part of reworking this roster and organization.
