Parity. I know it’s not a popular take with some fans. Couple things, 23 years ago the league was different, cap has changed the dynamics of the league. Philly, SF, Baltimore and Tampa have proved a QB is not as important as maybe we think. Seattle had a 3rd round pick and won, Rams had a FA.Last 53 years, 2 SB wins, 3 SB appearances.
Last 23 years, 1 SB win, 1 SB appearance.
Last 10 years, O, as in ZERO, SB appearances.
6 Teams with MORE SB wins over last 23 years = Pats, Ravens, Steelers, Broncos, Giants, and of course Tampa Bay.
6 Teams with as many SB wins over last 23 years = Indy, KC, Philly, New Orleans, Seattle, and Rams.
12 Teams not named the Packers have appeared in SB over the past 10 years: NY Giants, Philly, Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Rams, Seattle, SF, NE, Balt., KC, and Denver.
For fans who believe getting to and winning SBs should be the goal, especially with Hall of Famers at QB going into every season for nearly 30 years, the Pack's failure to win more than 1 SB with Favre and now Rodgers is proof positive of the front office's shortcomings.
It’s not as much about a HOF QB, how many top 10-15 picks have won a SB? Not many. Not sure there is a roadmap
