QBs tend to find favorite targets, and trust them when they're on the field. If you've never been in that position, it's difficult judging just how much they rely on individuals. We can make all the judgement calls we want, but the reality is, it's part of the game, and since I can remember, QBs have lobbied for guys on their team to be there.
I'm not saying Rodgers is right, but I do honestly believe that this issue would have never happened if Gutey and probably Murphy as well, hadn't decided that Rodgers was going to be history as soon as possible, and they didn't really give a rat's arse what his opinion was.
Regardless of our own personal opinions, I'd be willing to guess that darned near all of us on site would feel the same way as Rodgers did, under the given circumstances.
His winning the MVP award just made things work for the Packers front office. How do they say that their MVP QB is irrelevant?
