I know this might not be a popular take but in the real world you have choices. Career choices where to live choices. He’s not spitting in anyone’s face. Yeah he signed a contract. I get that but that does not entitle anyone to get diss him for what he believes in even if we disagree fundamentally with it. It’s a business. He owes me squat. It’s not about giving in or not. It’s a business decision. And the value part is subjective. What is fair or equal value? He’s 38, the chances of skills declining are greater than another MVP season. He’s not going to be in GB in 2022, that’s a given IMO. And add in the distraction. It’s a business
