Just wait till Rodgers is traded and it's the Packers did not get enough for him or we will be back to the 80s.
 
Maybe if Packers are looking for QB McNown is out there he will never retire.

I thought, since we're holding the party at your place, you'd furnish the booze. Which brings something else to mind. How many different types of shrimp platters will you be serving?
 
Rodgers to Denver is interesting. There seems to be an assumption that it's akin to Peyton Manning walking into Denver and being the missing piece for a team with a SB defense, but thats not really the case. By almost every measurment Denver's D was worse than GB's. GB was top 15, Denver was bottom 10. If he is traded there, and they have to give up players to get him, he's still going to find himself in a situation where he has to carry the team.

I think this is a false narrative. The league is set up so much different than it did on the 80's. Will there be growing pains and some tough years sure but I dont see doom and gloom

I agree with you. To me, though, the question is can a fanbase used to winning actually sit through a couple 6-11 type seasons without losing its collective sh!t. And I think the answer is no.

Probably not. If there is a silver lining the waiting list is still long, should not impact sponsorship revenue. Maybe some on the merchandise end. So impact to revenue probably is minimal
