I think he would have been fine drafting defense
Except there was nobody that was not a reach in positions of need in round 1 or 2. And again it’s not just this year or last, it’s the accumulation of misses.

I will say it again. His issue is that he wants control of the timeline. And that started with the Love pick.

And I say again, his reaction to losing control of the timeline, if true, is borderline psychotic and strange.

I honestly believe most if not the majority of professional athletes want to leave on their terms. It’s more entitlement that they have earned that right. More so in the NFL where FA is probably the most restrictive. I get the argument they signed the deal but many guys who sign 5 year deals don’t see the end of it.

It goes to his legacy he is a diva and diva's want to control their own legacy and write the last chapter in their books.

Then 90% of pro athletes are Divas. In a way I honestly don’t blame him. You can debate and disagree with his tactics but it’s not like the organization helped either. It’s both sides being stubborn and a serious lack of communication.

Players aren't nearly the divas the owners are.. you could even argue Murphy is a bigger diva than Arod.
