Rodgers Wants Out

what a crock of crap that article is. I guarantee you Ariens runs the show down there and Brady might get to say what he thinks but Ariens makes final call. Also Brady has 7 rings Rodgers has 1. The media wants to do nothing but kiss Rodgers butt and make it look like the Packers are so mean and unfair.
Maybe this has been discussed before, but in the back of my mind I wonder: Aaron just saw Tom Brady leave a system that he was in for many years and have success at a new team, and Brady and others thinks that meant that the Pats success was all Tom Brady and not Belicheck. I wonder if Aaron is thinking that the Packers success is all him (which it may be), and now thinks it's time for him to go out and prove it somewhere else just like Brady did.

Of course he thinks he's the team. Look at his little speech saying the Packers forgot it's the players that make the team aka himself.

I think he was talking about more players and maybe others in the organization than himself. He also used the word culture. And he’s not the only “insider” who has questioned the organization communications and people skills

They need to tell him that if he fulfills this year's agreement, they'll let him work out a trade next year. He's never going to be a real part of the team again. It's gotten way too far out of hand, and his ego has gotten him in too deep.
That ship has sailed unfortunately. The distraction would be greater than it is now with weekly speculation on where he ends up. And if his skills decline and / or injury the second guessing and Monday morning QB’s will have a field day. If and I assume it’s happened that he asked for a trade they should have granted it then. But unfortunately the “we are working with Aaron to resolve the problem” is now the narrative and neither party can walk it back without blood on their hands

The whole point about the Arians article is that Arians, who has control of the Bucs, talks to and discusses the team direction with his superstar quarterback, who might know a bit. (See TW's response)

If I were running any organization and had a superstar, I would be discussing my plans with them - not kow towing to their demands, discussing and asking their opinion, and explaining my direction and why.

I think that's all Rodgers ever wanted and wants.

I believe Rodgers is a prima Donna diva prick.

I think our front office screwed up exponentially.

I think we should trade him now while the iron is hot. I think the risk of the Rodgers iron cooling way down is too great to sit on this (look what the Falcons got for Julio). I'm betting our front office botches the mess it created.

There is one or 2 major differences in the Jones trade to Tennessee and Rodgers. #1 Jones could not stay healthy and stay on the field. Watching that team Ridley was a greater threat week to week. #2 WR is not the premium position QB is. Does not carry the same value.

This “Rodgers wants input” is not the major issue here and honestly never was. He makes one comment on Kumerow and it’s blown out of context. He’s never made that statement in public or thru surrogates, it’s been pretty consistent. He wants to go out on his terms and has an issue with the organization culture mainly Gute and Murphy.

Yeah but I think most of the NFL is ot going to let players have any say in personal. I think to many players are getting it into their heads that they should be GM/Coach/Player as they think without them there is no NFL so they should have a say in all.

Thing is you can't give in everytime a player throws a fit and demands to be traded. Will show other players they can do the same.

Who ? Watson is the only guy who has been “reported” to ask for that. There is a major difference between input and having a “say”.

Do agree with Jones. ATL got a decent pick for a guy who is going to be 34 years old and has had some injuries. At his age most WR's are at the end of the line and there is no guarantee Jones even becomes close to what he was again.
