Rodgers Wants Out

The “Money Solves Everything” stands out to me. In this case it’s window dressing. From Rodgers perspective it’s philosophical, from the organization’s perspective it’s business. Trying to bridge that gap is near impossible. It’s a different mindset and the end game is night and day.
I don’t completely agree. If GB came to him and said they wanted to tear up his deal, commit to him financially for the next 3-5 years, this would be over with. In other words, Rodgers’ philosophical differences are essentially financial.

Yeah Rodgers feels he's earned the right to control his own future which in a way I do agree with.
That’s part of it. I don’t think it’s everything. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. He loves football loves the fans loves the history of the organization. He hates the business part and that has multiple layers.

I don't wanna be rude to Schefter, but that was a lot of ways to say that he doesn't know any more than the fans.

>> "some credible people are texting me saying they don't know how to play with an angry QB" is just opinions around the league. So whoever was leaking things earlier has turned off the spigot. Schefty got nothin'

I did appreciate Collinsworth's interviewing; actually pushing back a little bit on some narratives instead of just face value. Like "who says it's bad for a player to be angry; he was angry last year" and "money solves everything" and such

I'm pretty much old school. I believe what I know for sure, and enjoy the speculation of what might be, only for the entertainment factor. I don't believe Schefter has anything more to work with than just conjecture based on a couple of simple comments that aren't even resources that matter.

To that extent yes but that’s not in the organizations plan and timeline. I don’t think the “highest paid “ part was ever an issue. Strictly timeline but I also think there is something deeper

I question if he loves football much anymore I think it's become less to him as the want to start a family has increased.

I think money was part of it. Rodgers has seen his value were he falls in line compared to what others are paid.

Agree Schefter is hearing second had news and reports it he can't fact check it because he's not talking to Rodgers.

As much no but honestly most players at his age dislike it also. The whole love of the game is really overblown
