I don’t have an issue with Adams not signing the tag.
I he does he loses his leverage to keep GB at the negotiating table.
The ball is really in GB’s court right now, and even if Adams and his reps work a deal with another team, GB doesn’t have to bite.
Both camps are keeping their leverage right now, as it should be.

With all new contracts in GB is still $6 million over the cap and have to be under the cap by 3pm central time tomorrow.
Also have ERFA to make a tender to by that deadline. I have checked Spotrac a new deal with Alexander bringing him down to $8 million and cutting Cobb, Crosby, and Lewis gives you $7.8 million under the cap that might be enough to sign your draft picks and have a million or two left over if you are lucky.

You can also cut Lewis and Crosby. Another 4M. You could also extend Amos and Lowery. Or cut him. Plenty of moves yet.
