2022 Badger Football Thread

Too many problems with the QB situation in Madison for a kid with credentials (WR) to risk going there and ruining his chances at making it in the NFL.

Rest assured, if the Badgers do resolve issues, and have a decent QB, and does throw the ball, some decent WRs will follow.

But, please! Don't hold your breath.

Dixon was listed as an athlete and his credentials were not elite. Hate to lose any kids it is what it is

The article referenced job openings by program both pro & cons of each job. Sorry for top line of pro’s got cut off but it’s a pretty accurate assessment

Sounds like dark days for program might be ahead with trying to get any decent recurit in. Hopefully next HC can avoid this by being the right hire to sell kids on the program.

No not necessarily. With the portal one bad class is not going to set a program back years. And selling Wisconsin has never been easy and that goes back to Alvey and BB even.

Well, there it is. We've been told we're going to always sit in the back of the bus, so we should just accept it, and move forward. We can say we're "the best," but put an asterisk after that, with a statement that says, "After OSU, Mich, MSU, PSU, and anyone else who gets it right."

Thing is what kind or portal kids you going to get to UW? The best ones are going to top programs. UW will be getting the kids who want to start but have no top power 5 wanting them.

Sorry but it’s not different than what happens in any conference. Bottom line it starts with resources from the administration
