for what it's worth, usa today released their draft grades, and gave the packers a b+ (about what i would give them as well), while they gave the other three teams in our division all the grade of c+.

Yo dogg, who missed the kicks in the playoffs? McManus was 3 of 7 (!) between 40-49 last year, and 3 of 5 on 50+. I got the sense ML didn't really trust him on longer FG.sounds risky for a team that lost in the playoffs because of a few missed kicks.
i get that. and nobody was more angry about it than i was. my point is that kickers do go through a "funk" once in a while. it happened with the legendary mason crosby. but our coach at the time decided to stick with him and he came back into form and was "money" once again. how can a coach have years of patience with some players, but none at all with others?Yo dogg, who missed the kicks in the playoffs? Though that was more MM being loyal to Crosby. Also seems the new ST coach is the one who gave advice to Gute to draft Smack.i get that. and nobody was more angry about it than i was. my point is that kickers do go through a "funk" once in a while. it happened with the legendary mason crosby. but our coach at the time decided to stick with him and he came back into form and was "money" once again. how can a coach have years of patience with some players, but none at all with others?
i guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes. the guys stats aren't much different from mcmanus last season. and smack has never kicked in the dead of winter in lambeau.Though that was more MM being loyal to Crosby. Also seems the new ST coach is the one who gave advice to Gute to draft Smack.
