Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

sounds risky for a team that lost in the playoffs because of a few missed kicks.
Yo dogg, who missed the kicks in the playoffs? McManus was 3 of 7 (!) between 40-49 last year, and 3 of 5 on 50+. I got the sense ML didn't really trust him on longer FG.

i get that. and nobody was more angry about it than i was. my point is that kickers do go through a "funk" once in a while. it happened with the legendary mason crosby. but our coach at the time decided to stick with him and he came back into form and was "money" once again. how can a coach have years of patience with some players, but none at all with others?

Though that was more MM being loyal to Crosby. Also seems the new ST coach is the one who gave advice to Gute to draft Smack.

i guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes. the guys stats aren't much different from mcmanus last season. and smack has never kicked in the dead of winter in lambeau.
