Post game: Niners beat Packers 13-10

I agree with alot of the comments here This D was amazing all night long which we rarely get to say.

ST's gave up 7 points and lost us 3. Also, gave up a 50 yard punt return. The 49ers had better field position all night. A huge part of the reason why we lost last night.

The offense was absolutely pathetic. No adjustments and the oline was absolutely crap in the 2nd half. AR missed some open WRs as well.

As much as some of you are putting this on Rodgers and I cannot disagree, my biggest concern is LeFluer. This is 3 seasons in a row we have been one of the top teams in the NFL going into the playoffs and he has not gotten it done. He never did anything to fix STs and it seems in the playoffs his play calling becomes mediocre. Yeah we have won 39 games in 3 years but continue to have head scratching losses in the playoffs. I wonder how this team will be with ML once Rodgers is gone. Like I said, I am more worried about if ML is the right coach right now than anything else.

Morning after facts most of you missed already....

ST isn't all about coaching in the NFL, It's about the bottom of your roster which hasn't been worth spit in GB for years. That's on Gute and his mentor TT. Those of you shocked every year better understand when you stayed on the same TT tree with Gute you got the same type of roster....thus the same kind of letdown for a decade +

*The ML question, I'll get deep and dirty on that in the end-of-year thread but for last night look a couple of posts up. Other WR were open #12 missed them because he's got Adams envy.

Mark's don't F with the Roster before the playoffs post doesn't look crazy anymore, does it? You had a group of men that came together for 8 plus weeks and while not perfect THEY won those close ones. Sometimes it's not about talent or names.... but you do send a bad message when you dis them for 4 guys that did jack just so they can play now.

Last point, I am not 100% on #12 but the kiss AR hinder and bring back the band is over. 52 million has to come off the roster. You only get down to 30 with reworked deals.... the band won't be back next yr regardless.

Have to agree with the underlining premise of what you are saying. For his first 3 years, ML had a transcendent talent at QB, which worked both ways. Aaron probably bailed him out at times and maybe sometimes messed up what he was trying to get done because he was running things his way. It was hard to know if ML was this good or not.

Next year all the scrutiny will fall on ML. (Assuming there isn't some CAP crippling decision made to keep AR.) He was not at his best last night. Next year we find out more about his ability to game-plan, motivate, and lead. No more miracles from the QB. Every game will have to be a total team effort - offense, defense, special teams, and coaching.

Again, stop putting it all on ML, Gute is the bigger issue as is Murphy. GB fanbase is too blind on that fact.

Then by that logic, it's not on AR either. If ML hasn't had the talent, then AR hasn't had the talent either. I like ML. Think it was a great hire, but a week off, 1 seed, at home, in January, and your offense scores 10 points to a Cali team. The buck has to stop somewhere with that on field play. Again, if it's front office issues, which I agree it is, as far as talent acquisition and scouting, then this song will be sung after each year as it has been for decades. The TT way of doing things is alive and kicking. Until that changes, we're in for the same results year after year.
