2021 Off Season Thread

I love Aaron Jones, but can't for the life of me fathom giving him the kind of deal he's after. Draft another RB.
agree. He gets some chuck plays but if you look at his game logs his production is average

I don't think you're going to get better out of him than we've already gotten, but his versatility is important to the offense. Need another WR who can catch and run routes.

So Lane Taylor will be a free agent. Has had injuries the last couple years now. Would he be a guy who try to bring back on a cheap deal to possibly start or at least provide depth to the OL?

Sure, I'd offer Taylor, but really nothing much more than vet. min. with some performance bonuses. If the signing bonus is low, you really don't lose anything if you cut him during camp.

I'd wait until after the draft to see what that brings you. You may want to bring him back for depth. Linsley is likely gone and BahkT won't be available at the start of the season so some veteran depth might be in their best interests.

I was thinking yeah if you get him back cheap because if Jenkins has to move to center from guard you then will need guards as your choices right now on the roster would be Patrick, Runyan, and Stepnaisk. Also you are also needing a RT as Bak won't be ready for the season so Turner will need to start out at LT. This line could be suspect at best to start the seaosn.
