2022 Badger Football Thread

So outside of Mertz Badgers don't have a QB that has ever thrown a pass. They have a redshirt FR and two true FR at QB.
 
Don't let the QB situation bother you. Deacon Hill should probably have been considered the #2 QB, except for his not having seniority. He did some good things off the field, in practice, through his red shirt season. He's as ready now, as he will be in a year, to take over from Mertz, if necessary. He's just untested in game circumstances.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised we see a little bit of what he can do in the opening game, when we play Illinois State, which obviously should be a blow out for the Badgers.

He might turn a few heads.

In camp he’s had issues with touch and accuracy. The arm strength is there that’s not a question.

Asked OC Bobby Engram who the 2nd QB would be after Graham Mertz. Says they haven’t made a decision on that yet.
